Situated in the heart of the Poconos, our home is on a very private one acre lot, and has an open floor plan. Downstairs it contains 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with a pull out sofa, upstairs consists of a 1 bedroom loft and full bathroom. It is located on a quiet cul de sac and a short bike ride/walk to the Larsen marina and beach, playground, and picnic area. It is guaranteed to provide you with a therapeutic, relaxing stay!
This home sleeps 8 and features a full kitchen, washer and dryer, spacious, open living room, family room and dining room, with a wood burning stove for those cold winter nights, TV with DVD player and VCR, extensive video library (over 100 movies), iPod docking station, ceiling fans, 2 decks, barbeque grill (charcoal), fire pit, excellent children`s playset in the backyard, and plenty of family and kids games to keep you occupied during your stay.
It takes less than 5 minutes to drive to Big Bass Lake`s outdoor pool (with children`s pool), new clubhouse, snack bar, 4 tennis courts and large playground area. Big Bass Lake also offers a basketball court, horseshoes, bocce ball, and licensed fishing on its 3 private lakes. Gouldsboro Park, situated only a few miles away, offers fantastic hiking, bike riding, playground and a lake for swimming.
Other nearby attractions include the Pocono Raceway, Tannersville Outlet, Gouldsboro State Park, Tobbyhana State Park, Mohegan Sun Casino/Horseracing, Red Barons Minor League Baseball, go carts and mini golf and many other attractions of the Pocono Mountains.
The home and community are also very charming in the winter. As the weather cools, Big Bass Lake`s winter recreation center opens. The Rec center features a heated indoor pool, sauna, game room, ski hill (with tow rope) and tubing hill. The recreation center is open on Saturday, Sunday, and holidays and the ski and tubing hill are open every weekend that snow conditions permit. Other winter sports include ice skating (on the lake), cross country skiing at nearby Gouldsboro and Tobyhana Park, and sledding.

We are also conveniently located less than a 30 minute drive to some of the major Pocono ski areas, which includes Camelback (which offers Camel Beach waterpark in the summer), Jack Frost and Big Boulder, Elk Mountain, Shawnee and a host of other ski resorts.
Badges (not included in the rental price) for use of Big Bass community facilities cost $9.00 per day or $40 per week, per persons age 6 and over.
