The recently renovated kitchen adjoins a screened porch; a wood-burning stove with stone hearth in the spacious common living area is the gathering spot on chilly evenings. In addition to two bedrooms and a full bath on the main level, the second-floor loft—accessed via a spiral staircase—has two more bedrooms and a second full bath
As part of Hemlock Farms, a gated community, the house offers a variety of recreational opportunities. Amenities include four lakes, a swimming pool (with lessons provided for children), tennis and racquetball courts, and trails for hiking. Outside the community there are venues for whitewater rafting, horseback riding and paintball. Winter recreation includes skiing, snowmobiling and tubing.
Just a half-mile from the house, the Steer Barn Recreational Center features an Olympic-size indoor pool, fitness center, hot tub, sauna, pool and ping-pong tables. A Teen Center offers chaperoned events for teenagers.
Wood for the fireplace MUST be purchased in the winter months and is available at the following prices. $50 for 1/4 cord, $75 for 1/2 cord & $150 for a full cord. This will be added to your rental amt.
