The Alpine Chalet is situated in the lovely private community of Lake Harmony Estates, Pennsylvania. The Alpine Chalet was built in 2006. It is a 3 story, 2800 square foot house that has 6 bedrooms and 3 full baths. This home was constructed as the perfect mountain vacation home. The house is situated in the woods with a great winter view.
Located on the second floor is our large great room that has a cathedral ceiling, a 42" Plasma TV with a DVD and a stone gas fireplace. The modern kitchen is perfect for cooking for large families with it spacious granite countertop. It has a side-by-side refrigerator, a ceramic cook top stove & oven, a space saver microwave, and a large breakfast bar with seating for 3. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the basic cookware. Off of the kitchen is our dining room that has a solid wood table with seating for 10. On the third floor there is a large 14’ x 12’ loft that overlooks the great room and has an awesome view of the outdoors through the chalet windows. On the first floor is the 26’ x 18’ game room. This game room has a stone gas fireplace, a 32” LCD TV with DVD, a seating area with a large sofa and love seat, a CD player and an 8’ pool table.
The outside of the home boasts a 32’ x 12’ raised deck. A Weber gas grill is located on the deck for grilling and we provide two 8’ picnic table which has seating for 10 persons each. Two Adirondack chairs are also situated on the deck. Below the deck is a 6-8 person hot tub.
The house is layed out for optimal use by larger families. Please see the amenity list above for all the amenities included. Do not forget to visit the Area Attractions section for a complete list of all the great things to see and do in the Poconos.
The home is a 5 minute drive to Big Boulder Ski Resort and a 10 minute drive to Jack Frost Ski Area. There are paddle boat rentals available on the lake during the summer season. The house is located 1 mile from the H20 indoor water park and the Galleria at Split Rock. Please go to the Area Attractions link to view. The home is minutes from numerous summer and winter activities such as skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, horseback riding, paintball, hiking, white water rafting, fishing, hunting, mountain biking, shopping, and golf. Lake Harmony is located 90 miles from NYC & Philadelphia.
Lake Harmony is a private powerboat lake that permits fishing, power boating (If you are bringing your boat, please call our office for a copy of the registration form) , water skiing, sailing and Jet Skiing (There are no jet ski rentals). We are located 3/4 miles from the beach. Lake Harmony has a private sandy beach with a lifeguard, a swimming platform, picnic tables and a beach volleyball court.
