Have a wonderfully deluxe summer vacation in the Poconos--for you, your family and your friends--at the fabulous SPLIT ROCK RESORT (http://www.splitrockresort.com/stay_with_us.asp), located in Lake Harmony, Pennsylvania 18624, a 10-minute drive either from Exit 95 of the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, or from Exits 277 or 284 of I-80.
These are luxurious 3-bedroom, 2-bath VILLAS which feature a fully-appointed kitchens. Each of the VILLAS easily sleep 6 (using the two private bedrooms, plus the queen-size pull-out sofa-bed in the living room, which can serve as a third bedroom). The VILLAS are being rented out directly by their time-share owner, Robert Braun, whose complete contact information is detailed below.
The VILLAS are available for a full seven-day week, starting on August 2, August 4, August 9 and/or August 11, as follows:
August 2 to August 9 (Friday to Friday)
August 4 to August 11 (Sunday to Sunday)
August 9 to August 16 (Friday to Friday)
August 11 to August 18 (Sunday to Sunday)
UPDATE-- AS OF TODAY, ONLY THE WEEK OF AUGUST 9-16 IS STILL AVAILABLE; ON THE OTHER HAND, AUGUST 2-9, AUGUST 4-11, AND AUGUST 11-18 ARE NOW TAKEN
In all cases, you can check-in as early as 5 pm on the Friday or Sunday afternoon, and you can stay as long as the following Friday or Sunday morning. (Indeed, you can even arrive anytime that you want earlier than the 5 pm check-in, and you can stay anytime later than the 11 am check-out time, to use the facilities on a “day-basis.”)
The VILLAS are located at the WESTWOOD development within the SPLIT ROCK RESORT. WESTWOOD units are nestled in a beautiful wooded area and are situated some 200 yards from the main hotel building at SPLIT ROCK RESORT, with all of its recreational and dining amenities. The VILLAS are bi-level, with two bedrooms, European-style sauna, Jacuzzi, and full bath on the lower level, plus dining room, complete kitchen, living room/3rd bedroom (including fireplace!) and half-bath on the upper level.

Just think—if you were to rent this very same unit directly from the SPLIT ROCK RESORT, the cost (for 6 people) would easily be over $400.00 per day, and even worse, you would be paying as if this was a hotel room, which means that there would also be taxes and service fees, which would amount to over 20% additional. But when you rent one of these villas directly from me, you save not only on the base cost, but also because there are no surcharges for “service” or for anything else.

Here are the important final details:
This unit is being rented by its owner, me, Robert Braun, who can be reached at 215.432.5158, or at email address intlfam2003@yahoo.com. My permanent address is 518 S. 12th St., Philadelphia, PA 19147 (and I am not trying to hide from anyone.). I will be at Split Rock Resort on August 2, 4, 9 and 11, to make sure that my “guests” have an easy check-in and check-out. In addition, during the entire period of August 2 to August 18, I will be in the Poconos—and available 24/7—to make sure that my guests have a first-rate experience.
In addition to the weekly rate listed, a Security Deposit of $250.00 is required, and this Security Deposit will be returned after inspection of the villa by the management at Split Rock, which applies the same standards that are found at any major hotel resort. In other words, if the unit is in the same condition as it was in when you received it at the time of check-in, then no deduction will be taken against the Security Deposit. But, if more-than-normal cleaning is required, or if there has been breakage, or if anything is missing from the unit, then charges will be levied against the Security Deposit. A refund of your Security Deposit, minus any charges levied, will be issued by me within 2 business days of your check-out.
By the way, in the five years that I have been renting my Westwood Villas via this website, not one guest has lost a cent on security deposits, I am very happy to say.
