Our four bedroom old parish house is strong and solid, in the middle of the indescribably beautiful undiscovered village (they call it hamlet) of Cornwallville. The first female minister in the area lived in the house when it was built, in 1900. Today, it`s next door to our own house, a stop on the underground railroad. Thirty acres are behind us of fields, mountains, two thin winding creeks. We love it here. So do (most of) our visitors. If what you want is No Starbucks, trails and swimming in area creeks, an organic farm less than a mile away, the incredible unexpected miracle of what grows and doesn`t grow, gardens, flowers, weeds, animals: birds, frogs, deer, even possums on occasion, this house is for you.
