Enjoy a peaceful weekend or seasonal rental. 21/2hrs from NYC. The most beautiful setting available in the Catskills or Hudson Valley. Nine acres centrally located in historic Cornwallville (a hamlet between E. Durham and Windham)
The enchanting home has breathtaking views of the Catskill Mountains and is uniquely situated. Only 15 minutes from skiing at Windham Mt. 30 minutes from Hudson, and 40 minutes to Albany. Nature, wildlife, silence in abundance. The interior is warm and inviting. The 2000 square foot cottage has a beautiful fireplace, with plush couches and antique pine furniture.
Neighbor farms are nearby but it`s absolutely quiet. Swim in the nearby Catskill creek or go antiquing in Oak Hill, East Durham or Coxsackie (where there is an old fashioned drive-in) Zoom Flume water park is minutes away and there are an abundance of hiking trails. Enjoy a lovely view from every window with wonderful light and wildlife. 2 Queen beds, 3 twins, all with down pillows and comforters.
Organic farms and excellent restaurants nearby. Drive 5 minutes down the hill to the General store,10 minutes to the large market in Cairo.
It`s a paradise.
