The house is ideal for a restful break from the hectic pace of day to day living or as a convenient and comfortable "home base" for exploring and enjoying beautiful upstate NY.
In what are you interested? Museums? The performing Arts? Antiques? Lake George and its many attractions, including Amusement parks? Early American History? The Massachusetts clothing outlets? Apple-picking? Skiing? Horseracing at Saratoga? All are close enough for great day-trips. Fishing and swimming? Right outside your door!
Perhaps one of you would like to take an afternoon walk along the lake shore drive, while you would prefer to sit on the deck and read? Or maybe one of you would like to spend a winter day skiing and another would prefer to "stay-home" and curl-up with a cup of cocoa in front of the fireplace? All such options, and many more, are attainable from this one charming location.
Weekly rental is $850 (+ 8% sales tax and cleaning fee.)
First floor- The "Great Room," which encompasses the kitchen, dining and living rooms, has a gas fireplace and faces the Lake. The downstairs bedroom suite shares this floor and may be closed-off for complete privacy via a pocket-door. This area includes the bedroom, computer work-station and full bath (double-shower, soak tub and washer/dryer).
Second floor- This bedroom suite includes a full bath (with shower) and a large sitting room, which provides a spectacular view of the Lake.
Wooden deck on two sides of the house. Both Weber and a gas grill are available. Dishes, flatware and linen provided.
