BEAUTIFUL 9 ACRE LAKEFRONT RENTAL on stunning, tranquil Horseshoe Pond which connects with the Deer River Flow offering miles of fishing/boating/kayaking surrounded by breathtaking scenery.
This is a very unique vacation rental. There is a year round 3 bed, 2 bath large timber cabin, beautifully decorated and furnished in the Adirondack style, with all modern conveniences including dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer. This cabin also features a pool room for family fun, TV with DVD player, wood burning stove, outdoor screened sitting room and deck. Sleeps up to 10 people comfortably.
In addition, on the same 9 acre waterfront site, there is a seasonal original 3 cabin "Adirondack Guider`s Camp". 2 of the cabins are for living/sleeping and each have 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and enclosed screened porch. The third cabin is a "cookhouse" with a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy eating area and a comfortable relaxation area with sofa, armchairs, TV with DVD player. All 3 cabins have wood burning stoves.
Guider`s Camps such as this are a rarity in the Adirondack Park. Originally built in the 1920`s and historically known as "Garby`s Cabins", the camp has recently been completely renovated by local craftsmen and offers a wonderfully authentic Adirondack vacation experience. Camp sleeps 8.
The whole site is cradled by woodland and tall pines, offering extreme privacy. Loons, otters, bald eagle and the occasional moose can all be seen from the private dock. Look skyward for clear views of the Milky Way and magical Northern Lights.

Lake Placid and all Olympic attractions approx 40 mins.

Titus Mountain Ski Resort, for skiing and tubing, 10 mins.
Summer fishing for large and small mouth Bass and Northern Pike on Horseshoe Pond and Deer River Flow. Ice fishing in winter.

Rental Details and Pricing:
The main large cabin, OR the Guider`s Camp, may be rented separately but you will be guaranteed sole use of the entire site. If you choose to rent only the large cabin, or only the Guider`s Camp, the un-rented part of the property will remain unoccupied. You may also rent the main large cabin AND the Guider`s Camp together. This is the perfect location and solution for a large group vacation or family rental. Large cabin and Guider`s Camp together sleeps 18.
