Our cozy cabin is located on a quiet mountain valley road, 20 minutes from Exit 23 of the Northway/I-87. Easily accessible in all seasons, it is located on 10 wooded acres and was completely renovated in 2007. The cabin features 3 bedrooms and 2 baths on two floors. Downstairs there is a fully appointed kitchen, living room with stone fireplace and wood burning stove, hand-hewn dining table and seating for six, bedroom with full bed and bathroom with shower.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms each with two twin beds and a renovated bathroom with shower. The house has central heat and air, real knotty pine paneling, three porches, fire pit and an outdoor hot tub, available for use year-round.
Downhill ski, snowboard or tube at Gore Mountain or cross country ski at Garnet Hill. Snowshoe right outside the front door on hundreds of acres of pristine forest.
Great hiking opportunities nearby at Crane Mountain and the Wilcox Forest and Siamese Ponds Wilderness Areas. For anglers, there is trout fishing at Mill Creek, the Schroon River, the Hudson River and Glen Creek. Swim at pristine Garnet Lake, Crane Mountain pond, or the Mill Creek Recreational Area. Climb rocks that are millions of years old at Stone Bridges and Caves or mine for garnets at Garnet Hill. Enjoy the attractions at Lake George (30 minutes) or the track in August at Saratoga (45 minutes).
Rates: All rates are based on occupancy by two adults and their children under age 16 years old. The rate for each additional person staying at the cabin is $50 per person per night.
Rates start at $300 per weekend non-peak season (Friday p.m. - Sunday noon. Weekly rates start at $750 per week non-peak and $990 peak. Peak season rates applicable Memorial Day weekend, last week of June - Labor Day, and mid-December - March. Kindly contact us for details and availability.
