The Shady Pines Cabin is located just 15 minutes away from the quaint village of Bolton Landing, which overlooks Lake George. Lake George Village is approximately 20 minutes away with its sandy beaches, outlet shopping, Great Escape Theme Park, Fort William Henry and more.
The Shady Pines Cabin is ideally located near Loon Lake and Gore Mountain. Situated on 4 private acres, this cabin is a true "cabin in the woods." Sit around the fire pit roasting marshmallows. In the winter enjoy filtered views of Friends Lake or snuggle up in front of the large stone fireplace.
First floor features: Genuine log and knotty pine walls, ceiling fans, beautiful hickory floors, fireplace, greatroom, fully equipped kitchen, large master bedroom, full bathroom, washer/dryer(in walkout basement), cable TV/DVD, queen size sofa bed, and a beautiful custom log staircase.
The second floor features include 2 bedrooms. One with twin bunkbeds, the other a queen size bed. There is another bathroom with stall shower for your convenience. The entire home is decorated in true Adirondack style with all real log furniture. The large picture windows showcase the best nature has to offer.
For some serious skiiing and snowboarding, Gore Mt. ski area is 15 minutes from your door. Or if you want to take it a little easier, Dynamite Hill is 5 minutes away with its free rope tow for skiiing and snowboarding, tubing, sledding, skating, cross country skiing and warming hut. Or try white water rafting down the Hudson River. Nearby Loon Lake is a public beach which offers sandy beaches with lifeguards and a public boat launch. Loon lake Marina offers boat, kayak, water skiing, tubes and pontoon boat rentals for your enjoyment. For fine dining, the Friends Lake Inn is located directly across the street. The Friends Lake Inn is an award winning, 5 star restaurant which boasts a very impressive wine cellar as well.
Snow removal is provided. Pillows and blankets are provided, but NOT linens and towels.
This is a smoke and pet free home. PLEASE DO NOT ASK.

Deposit of 50% plus $250 refundable security deposit due upon booking. Balance due 2 weeks prior to scheduled arrival.

Please note there will be a 4% transaction fee for payments made through Paypal. This is the fee that Paypal charges us to accept your payment. THIS FEE IS NON-NEGOTIABLE.
CANCELLATION POLICY: If cancellation is received 60 days prior to your scheduled arrival, you are entitled to a refund less a 10% service charge of the total rental price.
