Enjoy the remote beauty of the Adirondacks lakeside on gorgeous Lake Algonquin. Wells has NO tourists, one cozy and cheap diner, one restaurant - next town over offers more. Very quiet in Wells. The lake is refreshing and clean, and it`s GORGEOUS - mountains surrounding all sides. Four hour drive from Manhattan. Sleeps 2.
Gorgeous winter hiking to stunning waterfalls, run/walk around the lake, downhill ski Gore or cute little mt next town over, GREAT Xcountry skiing nearby, rent snowmobiles, ice fishing. Spring/summer we have two new kayaks for your use. Lake is refreshing and clean for swimming. We provide all the local scoop for you.
Summertime is for swimming, kayaking (we have 2!), biking (we have 2!), hiking and barbequeing.
We call her `Trailer-Liscious`. She`s a 1950`s mobile home that has been converted, renovated, sided, roofed, had additions built on and given tons of loving care and attention to make her what she is today - a unique and delightful modern lakeside retreat. One bedroom with double bed. Seperate office.
New propane powered fireplace on porch with nice lake views. Very cozy.
Furnishings are new, modern and comfy - This is a very clean, freshly renovated home...we are looking for kind and considerate guests who appreciate the lake view location, the town of Wells and Lake Algonquin as we do, and will take good care of her during their stay.
Full kitchen and huge porch w/a cozy sectional couch, fireplace, and flat screen tv w/some DVD`s for your viewing pleasure. No cable though, we come here to get AWAY from the news. Phone w/free local and long distance, high speed wireless (a novelty up there!), Weber gas grill, outdoor picnic table and fire pit for roasting marshmallows.
No smoking or pets please.
