The cottage is clean, comfortable, bright, spacious, and rustic, with all the modern conveniences, including radiant heating throughout. It features 4 bedrooms, a loft, 2.5 baths, an open living area (kitchen/dining/family room) with a custom-built stone fireplace, a large exterior deck, a 3-season screen porch with a woodburning stove, and ceiling fans throughout. It sleeps 10-12 comfortably: 1 king-size bed, 6 twin-size beds, 1 full-size sofa bed, 1 full-size futon. All linens are included (sheets, blankets, towels).
The cottage is a perfect 4-season vacation home, with convenient access to all the local activities: hiking trails within walking distance of the cottage, golf, mountain biking, rock climbing, canoeing, tubing, kyacking, fishing, waterskiing, whitewater rafting, inline skating, horseback riding, Santa’s Workshop (open year round), High Falls Gorge (open year round), ice climbing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice fishing, ice skating, hockey, bobsledding, dog sled rides, luge, tobogganing, winter horseback riding, and of course, shopping, dining, and sight-seeing in the Olympic Village of Lake Placid.
