A neighboring stream winds past the property before tapering up into the trails and mountains, allowing the gentle sounds of rushing water by day and night. Rolling hills and forest backdrop allow for glorious Fall colors followed by a spectacular winter wonderland. Both big and small hills on property are great for sledding right out the back door.
This 1888 renovated farmhouse is 5 minutes to Peekamoose restaurant (our fav),20 minutes to Woodstock and 10 minutes to either Phoenicia (east) or Margaretville (west), and offers basic modern amenities with preserved rustic appeal: wireless, cable, W&D, dishwasher and (propane) WB stove in LR. Simple country kitchen and bath. Comfortably furnished and equipped both inside and out, right down to the propane grill!
