Cottage has 18 inch thick solid stone walls and a slate roof. It was recently renovated with a wonderful modern cathedral ceiling kitchen, and new furnishings. There is a loft area which serves as 2nd sitting room and sleeping area. The living room has a stone fireplace, ceiling fan, and cathedral ceiling. The gate house sits on a knoll overlooking the beautiful lake with mowed lawns down the gentle slope to the lake. Enjoy beautiful sunsets, listen to the birds, or stroll the grounds. You will feel like you are many miles from everywhere, yet only minutes to restaurants, movies, stores.

Bedroom 1 has King bed, Bedroom 2 has Twins. Loft has queen futon.

Centrally located to many other Hudson Valley attractions; West Point, Storm King, Millbrook, and Hyde Park.

Activities and Attractions

Five acre lake available for fishing, swimming, canoeing. There is a dock for fishing, a swimming platform, and rowboat and paddleboat available to use. Also numerous hiking trails, and lawn games.

Easy access to Rt. 9 and I84 for all historic area attractions, from West Point to Hyde Park Mansions.

Rates

Summer rates start June 1 $1000-$1400/week, depending on occupancy.

Monthly, seasonal rate available on request.
