This 3 bedroom ( single, double and queen beds), lake home with finished basement on beautiful site, with many trees, is located on the west shore of Caugua Lake, 5 miles from Ithaca. There is a lovely grassy beach, great swimming, boat house and dock with row boat and canoe available. Good fishing off of dock. The house is situated
on a hillside, surrounded by mature plantings. The tap water comes from the lake, is fine for most purposes, but is not recommended for drinking. This is a non-smoking unit. Since there are stairs to this house and to the lake, we apologize that we can only accommodate able bodied renters.
Amenities
Fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, local phone calls are included, long distance calls can be made with your calling card. There is a finished full basement. You provide your own linens. we supply blankets. You are responsible for cleaning the cottage.
Activities and Attractions
Ithaca is located in the heart of the Fingerlakes region. There are beautiful state parks nearby with legendary hikes through exquisite gorges. Wine tours are available. Cornell Univeristy hosts has many cultural events.
Rates
$900 -$1400 per week. We typically rent from Saturday to Saturday in the summer. We are more flexible with rental dates at other times of the year. Contact us for rates during high volume weeks.
Reservation Payment: half due with returned and signed
rental contract. Remaining half, plus $300.00 security
deposit due one month prior to arrival. Security deposit refunded within 30 days of departure, pending no damgages, additional cleaning and/or long distance telephone charges.
