The Victorian farmhouse, built in the early 1920's, was a popular spot during prohibition. Today its popularity is generated from the warmth and hospitality guests enjoy. The inn has been tastefully renovated to meet modern expectations of comfort, convenience and safety. Polished hardwood floors, oriental rugs, antiques, and Tiffany-style lamps abound throughout the inn. Each of the guest rooms are air-conditioned and elegantly decorated with oriental rugs, comfortable chairs, designer bed linens, reading lamps, terry robes, and bath amenities. We have a lovely, full-service Victorian Restaurant, "The Birches at Schroon Lake", right next door to our Inn (serving lunch and dinner). Just walk across our lawn!

Breakfast at the Inn includes: Scrumptious gourmet delights such as apple-walnut French toast with fresh berry fruit sauce, Vegetable frittatas with salsa, Adirondack Eggs Benedict with lemon Hollandaise, Spinach-apple and feta cheese Timbales, Zucchini-dill puffed omelets, Pecan-Belgian waffles with whipped cream and fresh berries or sauteed apples and fresh baked pastries are just a few of the culinary, delights to start your day. Your innkeeper, Rita, a former food writer/stylist, takes great pride in presenting an outstanding breakfast.
