COME... vacation at Nelson`s Cottages, a family oriented vacation resort in operation since 1950. We`re located on scenic Fourth Lake, within walking distance of the small Adirondack community of Inlet, located 10 miles north of Old Forge.

ENJOY... waking up in fresh mountain air to a day filled with swimming at our sandy, child-safe beach and dock area. Plus, take advantage of the other activities on the premises such as volleyball, badminton, ping-pong, basketball, a complete children`s playground and fishing (We have dock space for your boat!)

ALSO... the nearby area has much to offer: visit the Enchanted Forest Water Safari, tour the Blue Mountain Lake Museum, take a guided steamship cruise or a ride on the Adirondack Scenic Railroad. Browse through the local gift shops, try tennis, play a round of golf, go horseback riding or take a seaplane ride. Rent a boat at the local marina for fishing, sailing or waterskiing on the Fulton Chain of Lakes. Climb one of the nearby Adirondack peaks, bicycle or hike through the vast and beautiful forests and you will surely catch a glimpse of the area`s WILDLIFE.

We have four different motel units (cottages) which are rented by the night or by the week. Each cottage has a full bathroom with a shower. Two have small refrigerators and one cottage has room for a cot, if desired. All linens are provided. They are cute, cozy and make the perfect spot for a romantic get-away or a one-night stopover.
