Sandy Status:
We are moving along with getting things back to normal. Our house had water damage, but no structural problems. We are targeting being ready for rentals this spring with accommodations even better than they were before.
Our current pictures are from before Hurricane Sandy. We will replace them once the renovations are completed.
Even if you are just tentatively interested in renting with us in 2013, feel free to send an inquiry and we will keep you up to date with our progress.

All in-season rentals are Saturday to Saturday. We make one exception by
extending the last week of August to nine nights including Labor Day weekend.
Our shore house has three bedrooms. Each bedroom has a queen bed.
The den has a pull out couch. We can accommodate eight occupants.
But, we prefer no more than six adults.
We have two full bathrooms. The shower in the master bedroom has steam.
It’s oversized and has three shower heads.
Second bathroom has a shower over a bathtub.
The kitchen is full of useful utensils and appliances (see amenities below).
We have two refrigerators and a dish washer.
The laundry room has a washer and dryer.
We typically set up the dining room table to seat six.
If needed, table leafs can be added to accommodate eight.
We have a peninsula between the kitchen and dining room with four stools.
In the living room, we have a 46” flat screen TV, Blu-Ray/DVD player and
hi-def cable TV. We have a collection of Blu-Ray and DVD movies to suit
a variety of tastes. You’ll also find a non-HD TV set with cable access
in each bedroom and in the den.
We provide high speed internet access via a cable modem (no WiFi).
We can provide beach badges for each occupant. We ask for a deposit which
is fully refunded when the badges are returned. We have several beach chairs
available – both adult and child sizes. And, we’ll supply a wagon to help
you bring things to the beach.
While the house is a just few hundred feet from the beach entrance (less than
a tenth of a mile), it’s located on quiet one-way street with partial view
of Lake Louise. It’s within walking distance of Jenkinson’s, multiple
restaurants, bicycle rentals and fishing trip charters. It’s about 3/4 mile
from the NJ Transit train station.
Our house is not a bungalow. It’s over 1600 square feet and sits on one of the
larger lots in the area. The backyard is very comfortable with a patio area,
propane barbeque grill and chaise lounges. We also have a child size patio
set available.
Parking in the beach area is a challenge. Our house has four off-street parking spots.
But we reserve the right to use one of them during the summer season
If you need it, we can set up a crib for an infant. We can provide
other infant care items such as a stroller, a high chair, a play and pack,
bed rails and child gates.
We also have a lockable shed available for your usage.
Many of the homes in this area are owner-occupied and not rented.
This provides for a good family setting in the beach area.
If you’re looking for a party house or for someplace to crash after your prom,
please look elsewhere.
